Dr. Caroline Mitchell is an Obstetrician/Gynecologist specializing in complex vaginal and vulvar disorders.  She is also a physician-scientist who runs a translational research laboratory studying the role of vaginal microbiota and mucosal immunity in women’s health.  In her clinical practice she sees women for whom postmenopausal vaginal discomfort has a significant negative impact on quality of life.  She joined the MsFLASH research network to seek better treatments for these symptoms and help further our understanding of underlying causes.
